Black amethyst glass planter - bowl - vase featuring a bold Greek key motif around the rim and three sleek angular feet. Crafted in the 1930s–1950s, likely by L.E. Smith Glass Company, this piece is made from deep black amethyst glass that reveals a rich purple tone in bright light. Wonderful starter piece for centerpiece or an addition to your glass collection. 

Country of Origin:  USA

Condition: Glass has no chips, cracks or repairs. Interior has some etched marks that have a reddish hue, could be attributed to hematite used in the making of the glass. Please review photos of interior. Feet have scuffing and there are normal surface marks consistent with the age of the piece.
